Hello I'm Lauren, It's nice to meet you. I am a Licensed Professional Counsellor in West Virginia with over 10 years of professional work experience both in the U.S and in the U.K. I'm from England originally but live and work in Ohio now since 2018. I trained in the UK first and practiced for a few years as a bereavement counselor and a general therapist. I decided to get my Masters in counseling from West Virginia University and have a dual masters in Clinical Mental Health and School counselling. I worked as a School Counselor for a few years in WV, before moving back towards working with adult clients.
I have experience in helping clients with relationship issues, Anger, Anxiety, Depression, Developmental Trauma, Children and Young people, ADHD, LGBTQIAA+ issues, Family Conflicts, Substance abuse disorders, Suicide and Self Harm, Trauma and Abuse, & coping with Grief and Loss. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our time and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey. I look forward to meeting with you soon!

Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

Lauren is an amazing therapist. Right away, she had the sensitivity to understand what my issue was. Proactive, she gives good worksheets that helps to heal. Also, she's a perfect listener. I highly recommend her.
Really enjoy my sessions talking with Lauren, she really seems to understand me.
I've had a physical (face to face) therapist and was horrible. Lauren is so understanding, asking questions to get to what I needed to help me. Doesn't ignore anything and is dedicated to helping and I'm so much grateful for her help. She has patience which a few therapist don't have. Thank you Lauren

Lauren is so knowledgeable and personable. She’s a great sounding board when I need it and offers honesty and solutions when that’s what needed. She’s helped me so much already. Going through a bunch of life changes last year was difficult, but she’s given me so much amazing advice and helped me re-discover my own resilience and courage. I’m truly grateful for her guidance and support.
Lauren is amazing. She listens carefully, follows what I’m saying ( and what I’m trying to say ) and responds to it. I feel heard! She has given me a brand new perspective and some very good, solid advise. I appreciate having her as my therapist. I’m delighted.
