Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Living and working in the fast pace modern world, taking time out once a week to talk with Michelle gives me a sense of grounding and calm. Michelle has encouraged me and continues to remind me to take an analytical but soft approach to understanding thought processes and reactions. Methods include: guided journaling to understand and realise negative thought cycles, guided self esteem journaling to break negative thought patterns, meditation and sleep hygiene practices. I would highly recommend Michelle to many for issues dealing with Anxiety, Depression, family sadness and insomnia. The ability to journal and share my journal with Michelle using the better help app also means she is there to talk to and understand throughout the week. Thank you Michelle for helping me so much.

Better help is a great alternative for people who are extremely busy/ prefer to talk to a therapist online/via call for a pint size of the cost than seeing a regular therapist. It has a bonus on speaking to therapists outside sessions which I find very helpful as sometimes (like me) we can have so much to say in one session and forget! Michelle is really attentive, understanding and very helpful towards my needs and will help out as much as she can.
