I have been licensed in Florida for less than one year but have 6 years of experience working as an adult trauma therapist at a recovery center. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, career challenges, mid-life crises, stress, low self-esteem, abandonment issues, empty nesters, coping with addictions, trauma and abuse, motivation, grief, good girl trauma, self-esteem, codependence, and confidence. I have also helped many women who have struggled with childhood trauma to include all forms of abuse.
My therapy style is warm, person-centered, and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, empathy, and compassion, and I don’t believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, dialectical behavioral, psychodynamic, gestalt, solution-focused, and rational-emotive therapy. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
It takes courage to be willing to ask for help and take the first steps towards change. To seek a more fulfilling and happier life through transformation and growth. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.
I look forward to working with you!

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

She's great!
Amazing person to talk to, always hears you out and gives great advice on any situation.
So far so good, when we talk its like im talking to a sister that I dont have and I feel better after every session
Penelope is down to earth and easy to talk to. She is good at getting you to open up without feeling any judgement. She makes you feel heard and helps you get back on the path you need to be on.
Penelope has a true gift for listening to what you have to say. In time, and at the right time she will provide you with exactly what you need to know. She is honest and she tells it like it is.
Thus far, I’ve had an amazing experience and could not be happier with the match.
I have been enjoying my sessions with Penelope, she’s very down to earth an relatable in many degrees she keeps sessions fun but also knows how to dig for questions you may be reaching for yourself. It makes me happy being able to be open with her an not be judged an usually she has a story or event in her life that she’ll touch on an be able to relate to the way I feel. I’ve had great experiences so far an dont think I’ll stop anytime soon!
I initially started on Better Help last summer, but took a break after my therapist I had took a break. I was discouraged for awhile about coming back. However, went ahead and took that leap. I’m very please that I managed to be paired with this therapist. It did not feel as hard or intimidating, she created a supportive, non- judgmental space for me to talk. As well as giving me guidance, and understanding of things that help me towards my mental health goals.
As soon as I see Penelope’s face my day gets brighter! She’s warm and nurturing and accurately reads what would be helpful in a situation!! It also helps a lot that we can relate on such a deep level and joke around too. That’s a true sign that she gets it!! Thank you for witnessing me and holding space Penelope, you’re an angel
Penelope has a gift with counselling where she is able to hold and loving and kind space and also bring her wisdom and humor into the sessions. I thinks she is by far one of the best therapists I have encountered.
