Recent reviews

She is very attentive and understanding to my schedule and preferences of communication which makes it easier to want to open up about topics I would normally avoid. Belinda doesn’t make you feel judged negatively for the coping mechanisms picked up due to the trauma you’ve endured and she provides a safe space to voice everything that I’ve felt through my own personal experiences.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with the state of Alabama. I am a graduate of The University of Montevallo, with my M.Ed. in Counseling with an emphasis on Clinical Mental Health. I received my Certification of Thanatology from the Association for Death Education and Counseling in 2016 and in December of 2021, I completed my Grief Counseling Studies through the Center for Loss & Life Transition with Dr. Alan Wolfelt in Fort Collins, Co.

I specialize in helping those struggling with the death of a loved one move through their grief and loss journey by offering a safe non-judgmental space of compassion and listening.

I also provide support for people struggling with motivation, self esteem, & confidence. I have a passion to companion my mental health counseling peers that are experiencing symptoms of compassion fatigue or are seeking a safe non-judgmental space to do their own self-work.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
