Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Stuart is a really thoughtful, intelligent therapist. Being a "first-timer", I was incredibly nervous, but his approach has been first class.

Stuart is an amazing person and therapist. He offers me a lot of insight and actively engages with my stories and psychology in way that makes me feel heard and understood. He has been great in clarifying and understanding complex events and feelings. Moreover, I feel like we also connect on a personal level which helps me to feel comfortable and at ease with him. I’d highly recommend him to anyone looking for a new therapist. Thanks Stuart!

Within minutes of talking to Stuart Williams, my therapist, I felt at ease. He is so good and helps you to understand matters that have been discussed. He is very knowledgeable and helps with any questions that I have and explains how to work through any questions that I may have. I would highly recommend Stuart.

Stuart is a very friendly and understanding therapist and I have felt comfortable expressing myself from the start. He's always punctual and respectful and never feels condescending which I appreciate so much

We connected in the best possible way. He not only listens and mirrors (which you would expect from a mediocre therapist) but reflects on the sessilns and gives you food for thought after or in the next session. Friendly, relatable, professional. Would recommend to anyone

Stuart has provided me with extremely helpful guidance through a difficult situation and has helped me see myself with a different perspective

Reviewed March 2024

Stuart has a beautiful sense of calm about him. He is gentle and kind and gave me the courage to look inside myself a place I have been avoiding. Whilst his gentleness gave me the sense of safety his strength, courage and counselling skills gave me confidence to know he can not only cope but lead me in the right direction.

Reviewed February 2024

Stuart really listens, gently challenges and calmly helps me to surface things I'm not even aware of. I love his person centred approach and his questioning style. At times it can feel quite challenging to face up to feelings you have squashed down and ignored but for me it's the only way through to a happier future

Reviewed December 2023

Stuart has been calming and attentive and it has been lovely to be able to speak to him so far. As an expat living in a german speaking country, it's also a bonus that he has some knowledge of Germany and the experience of being abroad.

Reviewed December 2023

Stuart is a great therapist, he listens to every detail and makes you feel understood. Definitely would recommend him.

Reviewed November 2023

Stuart is great at what he does! He approaches every session with patience, compassion and understanding which is what I really value and what I didn’t know I needed until I started therapy. I’ve never felt an ounce of pressure and he takes time to understand everything fully before moving forward. I’m so glad I took the step to start therapy because after only a few sessions I’m starting to understand and accept myself fully which I’ve never been able to do. Better help is an amazing platform and it’s choice of therapists are even better!

Reviewed November 2023

He listens to me, makes me feel that my concerns are not overlooked and makes me feel understood. He’s really nice and respectful too. I’ve only had a few sessions with him but after every session I feel better about myself.
