I am licensed in Oregon with over 11 years of professional work experience, after graduating with a Master's of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. I also received a Certificate in Eating Disorders from Lewis and Clark College. I have experience in the mental health field in helping individuals work through feelings of depression, stress, anxiety, relationship, and career difficulties. I also have experience working with individuals struggling with body image and eating disorders. I take a person-centered approach to my work and believe in working together. I want to listen, hear your story, and then help work through the struggles that you may be experiencing. I take an eclectic approach to my work, and utilize a variety of techniques, including CBT and DBT. Communication is also important to me, so please let me know what does and does not work well for you.
I also have experience in helping folks with life stressors and anxiety, confidence and esteem issues that can arise within their relationship, etc. I work with couples to work on improving communication and bring back the focus on positive aspects within the relationship, as well as discussing attachment styles and how these affect the relationship as well.

Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
