Hello, my name is Naomi O'Connor.

I am a qualified and experienced BACP registered integrative psychotherapist.

As a therapist, I am able to provide you with a safe and non-judgemental space, to make sense of your concerns, help facilitate your own insight and explore solutions in a way which has meaning for you.

I provide a service that is uniquely tailored to you and your presenting difficulties. My aim is to support you to explore challenges, painful situations, negative thoughts/behaviours and so forth, that may be preventing you from living your life to the fullest.

My specialism is working with trauma, narcissistic abuse or relationships, relationship difficulties, anxiety & depression, low self-esteem, overthinking, IVF/ICSI and infertility, and emotional distress.

I also have extensive experience of working with bereavement and simply feeling stuck.

I am aware that each person is unique so I work in an integrative and relational way where I draw from various counselling approaches and techniques including existential, person centred, attachment, CBT and psychodynamic that will best suit clients’ needs.

I have worked with the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies program (IAPT) where I offered counselling to adult clients (18+) referred by their GP to the IAPT service funded by the NHS.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
