I am grateful for my therapy sessions with DrTara Seay. Our sessions help to provide me with guidance, reflection, work towards recognizing the root causes, and action items which all aid in my journey.

Ms. Tara has been so very helpful in giving me more insight into my issues. As a therapist in my own career it has been easy to dismiss my own problems and think “I already know what to do to fix this, I spent 6 years learning everything I will be told to do in these sessions”. I quickly found that I was wrong about my prior thoughts as I had sessions with Ms. Tara, I did in fact need her help because I had not been doing it well on my own. Ms. Tara has made me realize that it is important to seek help for yourself, even if you think you have the knowledge to fix it yourself. Ms. Tara has empowered me and help me strengthen my own personal skills in ways that I desperately needed help with. Ms. Tara is very knowledgeable, easy to talk to, insightful, and shows no judgement. I am so thankful Better Help connected me with her.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
