Vicki is the first mental health professional where in our first session just listened. Rather than being lead by standard questions, she allowed me to share my story in my way. She then validated what she heard me say. She gently asked clarifying questions, provided feedback, and then listened. I felt I was heard.

I am a marriage and family therapist and drug and alcohol counselor licensed in Nevada with over 10 years of experience working as a therapist. I have helped clients work through a variety of difficulties, including trauma, abuse, anxiety, depression, addiction, discrimination, work difficulties, relationship problems, and many others. My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone kindly and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines dialectical behavior therapy, emotionally focused therapy and cognitive behavior therapy. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

Some passions of mine include music, comedy, social justice, and traveling.

Whatever you may be struggling with, know that you do not have to do so alone. One of the most important components in counseling is the bond with the therapist. My goal is to help you in your journey while providing a place to express yourself. I look forward to working with you!

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
