I really like that she’s very direct and will say things as they are in a realistic yet empathetic way. From the first session I knew that I found a good therapist for me and that is still continuing to prove true I feel a little bit more understood and empowered after each session and I can’t wait to see how my improvement continues through the next sessions

My speciality as an accredited counsellor in the UK, is using CBT to work with and support young people, families, and couples. I help them to understand their trigger points, and find healthier ways to manage their emotional difficulties and trauma.
I have used my work to support people with a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, low-mood, OCD, PTSD, work difficulties, relationship problems, bereavement, self-harm, suicidal thoughts and much more. I have also, spent a lot of time supporting people who have experienced emotional and physical abuse. My model is professional, holistic, empathic and non-judgemental with a focus on CBT, Person-centered, Humanistic, Integrative and psychodynamic. I listen to clients and treat them with respect. Working with the clients, I devise a strategy that meets their individual needs.
It is my ethos to encourage clients to be happy to focus on their own strengths and start to feel empowered.
I look forward to working with you, and giving you the tools to be in control of your emotions and changing your story.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Adeshalewa is the best therapist I've ever had. Not only she listens and tells her opinion with no judgement, but she also sends helpful material whenever I needed. She's highly professional.
I have had trouble with anxiety for a long time but with this wonderful person's help I have been finding it alot easier to live life.
I really value the sessions I have with Adeshalewa
Very warm welcoming energy. Excellent listening skills & enables me to feel heard. I feel like we've been working together a lot longer than we have & look forward to our weekly sessions
I have had a few sessions now and can already feel progress, I came to therapy sceptical as I have had bad experiences with other providers in the past - but it has been worth the investment
Very professional, calm, warm and patient! I feel better after each session I have with her.
Shally is very professional, asks great questions. I feel like I have progressed a lot since I’m seeing her.
Adeshalewa Kolawole makes me feel heard and understood, she is able to unpack my worries and provide useful tools to cope with them, she is skilled in dealing with PTSD. She also is sensitive to cultural differences and neurodiversity.
I was new to therapy and didn’t know what to expect. Working Shally has helped me identify blockages I was not aware very early in our sessions and I wished I had done this a long time ago. Shally helps me find strategies to improve my relationship with others in any setting but still staying true to myself.
Adeshalewa is really helpful and really listens to me. She helps me look at issues through a different lens.
Wonderful, empathetic therapist. A great support.
I was so hesitant to engage in therapy, I thought about it for a long time before I took the first step. My first session was extremely emotional, however it was the most worth while thing I’ve done in a long time. Shally (Adeshalewa) has helped me in so many ways. She is kind, caring and understanding- with her support we been unpicking past experiences, trauma and learned behaviours- things I never would have been able to do on my own.
I’ve only had two sessions so far with Adeshalewa (Shally), but they have been some of the most powerful therapy sessions I have ever experienced. I’ve learned so much from her, and I’m incredibly grateful for her help and wisdom. I don’t think I quite understood exactly how powerful therapy could be until I had a session with her. I’m still processing everything from our sessions so it’s difficult to put it all into words at this point, but I feel like something was opened up inside me and allowed to begin healing for the first time, and I’m filled with an overwhelming sense of gratitude.
She was very attentive and supportive. She also gave clear perspectives
