Are you going through a life changing transition such as bereavement, relationship breakdown, career loss or change? All of these things involve grief, and can leave us feeling down, anxious, lacking motivation and purpose, losing confidence and self esteem.
I help my clients to rebuild and restructure their lives - reconciling the past; finding joy in the present and building dreams for the future.
I have also worked in an addiction recovery setting, Sometimes the consequences of the old addictive behaviour seem overwhelmingly shameful, but I help my clients navigate their way back into their life as a newly sober and clean individual.
I've been an accredited counsellor for 4 years. I create an open and safe environment where my client's thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. I work in a non-directive, humanistic way, which means that every session is led by what is upper most for you.
Previous clients say that they ...
"felt validated and accepted from the first session";
""felt an instant rapport and connection"
found "perspective... I feel like myself again"
"I found my happy self again"
"I feel confident and I'm looking forward to the next phase of my life"
It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life. You've already taken the first step towards change and I'm proud of you for getting started. Let's go on together

Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

Carole has compassion and listens to understand. She waits, that is, Carole doesn’t jump in with solutions and gives good explanations without being intrusive. Would definitely recommend Carole.
Polite professional easy to talk to.
As a complete newbie to therapy, Carole (or Caz) has been an extreme help to what I would call a ‘mental shake up’ this year. Anxiety hit me in a big way, and although week to week the changes are small and incremental, where I am now and how I feel is a world of difference. Caz is responsible for that. Warmth, seriousness, smarts and her ability to connect and create a safe space has been a revelation. A wonderful person and a brilliant therapist.
Carole is extraordinary and so very helpfull. She creates a safe place to explore and work on issues.
Carole is kind and understanding and is heling me through a difficult period in my life
Carole is kind and patient and insightful, able to cut through my meanderings to hone in on what’s really going on and give me food for thought moving forwards.
Had my first session with Carole and felt comfortable soon after the initial introductions. I felt challenged positively, which is exactly what I wanted. I’m confident that I’ll be able to achieve my goals and more with Carole and look forward to working together and learning from her knowledge/skill.
Carole has helped me navigate a very tumultuous and stressful period of my life. I've never had therapy before but it was easy to open up and get stuff off my chest which has helped me cope better and manage my relationship better than I otherwise would have. Sometimes you just need a non judgemental listening ear and Carole is that, but also helps guide me on healthier ways to view certain scenarios.
Carole is fantastic. She is really supportive, knows when to challenge me, listens, shares insight when needed and gives me things to work on and consider. I’ve learned so much about myself working with her.
My experience of therapy with Carole has been overwhelmingly positive. A number of inbuilt assumptions I have picked up during my adult life have emerged, and I find that these have driven my decision-making and been a substantial part of how I have defined my success (or otherwise). However, these were not active choices, and it seems they may have been doing me more harm than good. I suspect this will be a long journey, but after a very short period of time, I am much more calm and far less distressed.
If I knew what I wanted I would say Carole. She is warm, friendly and interacts in an intelligent way with smart questions and suggestions. Thoroughly recommended.
