Recent reviews

Julie was kind, attentive, and responsive. She addressed my concerns and helped me reach the core of the issues that I had but, importantly - she made me feel valid after months of feeling crazy. I'd recommend her to anyone and would come back to her again in future.

More about Julie

  • 8 years' experience
  • Female
  • BACP

I am a compassionate and caring person who, driven by my own life changing experience of therapy, trained at the University of Strathclyde in the Person Centred Approach in 2014.

Since then I have worked in Private Practice and Further (College) Education offering a safe, confidential and accepting space for people struggling with their mental and emotional health.

Life can be difficult and complex. We are often derailed by events, confused by overwhelming choices or hurt in ways we cannot articulate and these, and other problems, can find us in a stuck, and sometimes fearful place.

When we are listened to, with real understanding and empathy, this can often be the most potent force for change.

I aim to be alongside you in these difficult moments; to listen to you, without judgement and in a way that I believe, will help you find a solution that works for you.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions. Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
