My name is Jason, and I am a counsellor that primarily works with clients that are looking for help with their seemingly unshakeable anxieties and insecurities. I take a solution based approach in my work with that utilises elements of CBT and humanistic therapies to help locate the origins of unhelpful thoughts and behaviours with the intention of facilitating worthwhile change.

I work with clients that are dealing with issues surrounding anxiety, depression, stress and feelings of inadequacy within their personal and professional lives as well their relationships.

I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion as well as providing a space that is completely free of judgement, and bias. I will tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. This includes individuals with ASD as well as other neurodivergences.

Taking the first step towards seeking a more fulfilling and well-rounded life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process. Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions at all.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
