I am a qualified counsellor, trained to work with individuals and couples. Indeed I particularly specialise in couples counselling having completed a PG diploma in Contemporary Relationship Counselling.

I am a registered member of the BACP and work within their ethical framework.

I am an integrative counsellor which means I use a variety of different theories within my work which I tailor to meet the individual needs of clients. Whatever difficulties you are experiencing I will empower you to access inner resources to promote positive changes. I acknowledge that everyone is unique and therefore their story is the reality of their life. You will receive a genuine, calm, confidential and non-judgemental approach during your counselling sessions. I will explore with you the difficulties/concerns you are experiencing to enhance your opportunities for change and a healthy well-being.

I work with various concerns such as Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Addictions, Bereavement/ specialise in baby loss, Relationship issues.

As a couples counsellor I work systemically, which means I explore the influences of family, community and wider society which shape the people we are. I integrate other theories through this work such as solution focussed therapy and transactional analysis.

In couples therapy we all work together, you both get time to talk and share your concerns. As a counsellor I am completely neutral and there are no judgements or bias.

Thank you for reading.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions. Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
