My name is Joyce Ngouan, MS, LPC. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who has had the privilege of providing counseling services to numerous individuals over the past 9 years in Oklahoma. My initial goal is to build trust with you by actively listening with unconditional positive regard, in a non-judgmental and genuine caring manner. Hopefully, this will help you to feel safe and free to share openly your symptoms, thoughts, feelings, and/or story with me. In helping you to achieve your counseling goals, my therapeutic techniques are holistic. I approach therapy by assessing your needs and goals. I may select to use one or more therapeutic techniques, which may include, but not limited to cognitive-behavioral, reality therapy, solution-focused, psychoeducational, trauma-informed, and mindfulness.

I offer a personalized approach that is tailored to each client's individual needs. I work with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues including the impact of trauma, depression, anxiety or grief/loss. Together, we will focus on problem solving, goal setting, and identifying your strengths to help you live a more fulfilled life.

Being new to therapy, I don’t really have much to go off of. But she is attentive and helps to find out ways to achieve my goals as a client. We’re only two sessions in but I feel better after our weekly is over, so that’s good.
