I will work in an integrative way, using Psychodynamic and Person centred counselling, this means I will work with you depending on what you need individually, working in the present and looking at your past. I have experience with working with adolescents and all the worries that come with changes in their lives and I have also worked with an addictions charity, with a diverse range of clients including ADHD, domestic abuse, LGBTQIA+, childhood neglect and abuse and grief.   I have been told that my clients feel empowered when they have finished their counselling with me, having been given the tools and voice to face the world.

If you are reading this it might mean that you are not feeling happy within yourself. These feelings can manifest themselves into our lives in different ways: people pleasing; self harming; perfectionism; masking; alcohol and substance abuse; and over controlling behaviour are among the many. They can lead to feelings of depression and anxiety or shame. These coping mechanisms might have helped at the time, but can disrupt our lives as we get older. If you feel you want to change the direction you've been going in, then I can help you build your self-esteem and be able to be your true self.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
