I’ve seen one other therapist in the past (they were a PsyD) so I don’t have too much to compare this experience to. But I can say how much more I enjoy talking to Vicki versus my previous therapist. She fully listens and engages in conversation and even though I’ve only had 2 sessions so far, she’s been a MAJOR help. I’m going through a counseling master’s program myself and I know she will be an excellent asset as I deal with the imminent stress of higher education

I feel like I’ve always had a hard time putting what I feel into words and truly understanding why I feel the way I do. Vicki has great intuition on what you’re feeling based off of your wording, hesitation or emotion. I love that she always checks to make sure she’s understanding you correctly.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
