I have been hesitant to do any sort of therapy for years due to the fear of being judged. I decided enough was enough and finally enrolled. I was super anxious at the start of my initial session, I just let it all out, told her how I was feeling at the time and what I was going through. I cried and laughed, but not once did she ever make me feel bad, she didn’t make me feel judged. She showed compassion and caring. She made me feel understood, asked questions in a way that didn’t make me feel threatened, and she gave me some great feedback. I have had a few sessions now and I look forward to the next.
