With knowledge of integrating different modalities my speciality is tailoring therapy to each client. Applying a humanistic approach to build the trusting therapeutic relationship, then integrating CBT, psychoeducation and creative outlets to ensure that the sessions suit each clients needs.

The clients I have seen often find they do not feel connected with who they are anymore, or perhaps never really knew. They might have left an abusive situation, or be unsure how they feel about their current routine. Some have had children and lost some of their identity since gaining the title of 'parent.' This can leave people feeling anxious, depressed or scared of the future. I have history of seeing both male and female survivors of Domestic Abuse, Postnatal Depression for all parents and a lack of self worth. I also have experience with chronic illnesses, disabilities and working with those who have health considerations.

I myself have experienced periods of difficulty, including an abusive relationship and postnatal depression. This means that I know how effective good counselling can be. I also understand how hard the first step in asking for help can be, so I aim to be as welcoming and reassuring as possible from the moment you take that first step.

As an accredited member of the NCPS I work within their ethical framework to ensure that each and every conversation and session is with your wellbeing in mind.

If you can relate to any of the above, or feel as though we may be a good fit, send me a message and let me help you on your wellbeing journey.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions. Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
