Welcome

I have had the privilege of working with those that ask for help for 40 years

Each of my clients, begin their own unique travel in a world full of infinite possibilities for lasting change.

However, the act of asking another for help, is sometimes tethered to fear, or shame , or a sense of failing to be the captain of there life , always steering forward

We are all challenged, as we go about living our lives with uncertainty, to not know what’s around the corner is extremely uncomfortable. A part of my work on self, and others, is to find unique opportunities for staying in the present, the here and now, using mindfulness to soothe the non- negotiable uncertainty, and teaching new tools, strategies, methods, and practices, together we will explore what simple methods we all have to ground us, an extraordinary gift to work with fear

Asking for help can be challenging for all of us. However, it is a deeply courageous act, but I have learned that we all can learn to listen to what we feel, even if the inner voice is no more then a whisper. Our bodies will direct us toward discovery, our bodies never lie.

Together, this exploration leads us to find our emotional, physical needs, even if forgotten, the present is a fresh climate to discover, and learn to communicate those profoundly natural, human, universal, emotional human needs needs, to learn to listen to the whisper listen to one’s onvoice , be it a faint whisper, or a and act with the presence of uncertainty, and bravely step toward self care and healing

Yes, and with a stranger

they hope to trust , and find the often vulnerable wisdom , my truly caring , and ease to help nurture a connection between us, a safe place, without judgement , a climate where forgotten or newly founds feelings and needs , always stunning to see, how resilient we just might find ourselvesand tools wisdom together

to uncertainty view of always present respect and all they may suffer, by the uncertainty of life , we we all must peace, but tethered to the fear of reaching out to another

It may seem like it is a smooth road toward therapy being ready to listen to their own voice, the words seem simple, but they are not

listening to their own voice, an often sleepy, or energized effort belief that voiceby asking for help. I have always deeply respected the some, that task is an act

I have grown to believe that therapy need not be life long. For some, it may be that a longer and safer therapeutic relationship needs time to do it's healing. However, in most of my work, I utilize Short - Term Problem Solution Therapy. There, a client can keep their own goals in front of them and work on making healthy choices for whatever they suffer. A therapist needs only to create a climate of empathy, compassion, and trust.

A client can be challenged by a diverse set of problems;

Depression, Anger Issues, Anxiety Disorders, Lack of Self Esteem, Family, and or Couples Relationship issues, Child-Centered Problems, Parenting Confusion, and many other symptoms

There is always hope to lead the way once a client is willing to ask for help, a brave and courageous act.

It is my hope that I can help others learn to cope with the stressors in their lives, both externally and internally.

The world is an uncertain place, and that is uncomfortable and frightening for most.

We often don't know what comes next, what's around the corner, but I believe in change. We all have the capacity to develop coping skills and find boundless resilience.

All Best,

Elizabeth Mintzer LCSWR

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions. Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
