Hello and welcome, my name is Rebecca. I am a compassionate counsellor offering integrative counselling support to adults. I can support you with a range of issues. I believe that counselling is a useful tool to encourage self-awareness and development. I believe that by working together we can help you move forward.

I'm passionate about providing a safe and supportive space for individuals to explore their experiences and work towards healing. My integrative approach allows me to tailor therapy to your unique needs, drawing from a variety of techniques to address issues such as trauma, anxiety, depression, and other challenges.

My counselling specialism is trauma, I have under taken additional training around trauma and trauma responses. I have worked with individuals who have suffered from domestic and sexual violence.

Taking the first step toward seeking support can feel overwhelming, but it’s also an act of strength and self-care. I understand that reaching out for therapy can bring up a lot of emotions, whether it’s uncertainty, fear, or even a sense of relief. Please know that you're not alone, and it’s completely okay to take your time. I am committed to creating a trusting and non-judgmental environment where you can feel comfortable sharing your thoughts and feelings.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
