My psychotherapy practice consists of understanding how one perceives their lifeworld, the essence of meaning related to consciousness as to situational events & transmission of affect. I work with Type l trauma from exposure to traumatic incident and Type ll complex developmental trauma. I am interested in holding a framework for transformation that supports reflection, in what one may want to achieve. I am an approved provider for CBT: Cognitive Processing Therapy for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. CPT is a model developed by the Veterans Administration, Resick, Chard & Monson that consists of 12 sessions. Inclusive of treating PTSD. I also provide EMDR and calming strategies.

I have over 20 years of experience inclusive of working with addictive disorders in both inpatient, and outpatient settings. I support first responders and victims of domestic violence, as well as adolescents affected by trauma. I question prior diagnoses initiating a full assessment, and inquire if diagnoses are a result of a biological & psychological issue or a finding of situational intrusion. My goal is to understand your lifeworld and combine the cognitive with the somatic to empower the capacity for healing.

My interests are the human condition and understanding how lives are shaped & influenced by social and family systems. Inquiry to knowledge of our life-world is a first step to transformation. I

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
