I am a therapist with 3 years experience working with clients aged from their early 20s to their late 80s. Whether a major issue has brought you to therapy or you simply want a deeper understanding of your experiences, I offer a warm, non-judgemental space for you to be in, and be seen, as you share and explore your feelings. My role is to support you in your exploration, to relieve discomfort or ‘stuckness’ and provide a platform to consider how you might want to change.

Coming to therapy can be daunting. Taking the decision to talk to someone is for many people a big step and a courageous one. It is natural to be concerned about finding the right therapist for you, and at the same time perhaps not knowing what that looks like, particularly if you haven’t had any previous experience of counselling or therapy. My approach is compassionate and collaborative. For some clients, exploring past experiences and childhood is an important part of gaining self-awareness and healing; for others, staying focused on the present may be what’s important. My approach won’t be directive, and how we work together will depend on what feels comfortable for you and what we have agreed to do.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
