A bit about me, my approach is about empathy, compassion and emotional support. I work as an Integrative counsellor, which means that I can use a selection of methods that all involve listening to you and supporting you, in order to fully understand where you are in life. Bear in mind that the most important thing to consider when choosing to undergo therapy is that in the therapeutic space, you should be able to feel that you can be open and honest and are able to discuss sensitive issues freely, without judgment. I can provide that space for you.

I specialise in Person-Centred Therapy and Psychodynamic Therapy. Person-Centred Therapy centres around the belief that individuals know themselves the best, they have just lost the ability to make the right choices about what is best for them. Psychodynamic therapy looks at your childhood development and the relationships that you had then. These relationships may have resulted in you developing patterns of behaviour that may be playing out in your adult relationships and impacting your life now. I am trained to assist you in rediscovering your strength. 

The relationship we will create is the most important part of your counselling journey.  Within this relationship the goal is for you to reach a positive outcome and build your self worth and confidence.  This should help you to relearn how to trust your decisions and importantly, to learn how to support yourself mentally when you feel you are ready to.It's very important to me that they feel heard, understood and accepted without condition.

While I support my clients in directing the course of their therapy, I’m not afraid to offer challenge and to guide a little, if I believe it's therapeutically appropriate to do so.
