More about Sue

Hi, I'm Sue - a fully trained and experienced British therapist based in the UK. My specialisms are relationship issues, family conflicts, coping with grief and loss, depression and life changes.

I also have experience working with anxiety, abuse, trauma, workplace problems and parenting issues. I have previously worked for Cruse supporting clients with grief, and also MIND supporting clients with all kinds of mental health problems. I have also counselled in work-based settings and for NHS personnel.

My approach is to establish a solid therapeutic relationship whereby you can feel properly heard and understood with full acceptance and without judgement. Providing a warm, caring and empathetic environment can help you develop trust and be comfortable to share all the difficult stuff that may be causing you to seek help.

I am not here to tell you what to do, but rather to enable you to find your own unique answers and what is ultimately the right path for you. Everyone's story is different, and therefore I respond to each client as an individual.

Taking the first step in recognising that life is feeling difficult to cope with takes courage. I am here to support you in the process of exploring how things can change and hopefully lead to a more fulfilling and happier life.

If you are ready to take the next step then I am here to support you.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
